Policies and Guest Information
Rates are based on double occupancy – there is a $30.00 charge for each additional guest. We ask for a 50% deposit at the time of your reservation. Room rates are $99.00 – $149.00 plus tax. Room rates and policies are subject to change.
We accept cash, checks/travelers checks (with proper ID), VISA, and MASTERCARD. Specialty packages and holidays (major and U.S. bank holidays, and Notre Dame Football weekends) are two-day minimum reservation.
Room rates are subject to 7% Indiana sales tax.
The McKenzie House Bed & Breakfast is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us. Cancellations are accepted by telephone only.
Our cancellation policy is as follows: Deposits will be forfeited on cancellations received less than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival (30 days for whole house reservations, special events or holiday weekends).
Check in time is 4:00PM – 6:00PM Check out time is 11:00AM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements. Late check out time may be requested and will be granted if possible ($25.00 fee required).
All rates include a gourmet breakfast – evening snacks/beverages (Please make us aware of special dietary needs in advance of arrival). All guests are invited to enjoy the complimentary book, music and video/DVD library, and table games – all items must be returned before check out. All guests are welcome to take pleasure in the 18 ' X 36 ' in-ground swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit and barbeque grill. Hours of recreation will be posted – please observe.
The McKenzie House Bed & Breakfast is a smoke free property; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
No pets permitted – we will be happy to help you find a local boarding kennel.
Well behaved children are welcome, in the company of thoughtful parents (pending availability of family style suites).
